Laura Massetti,
Founder of Real Work Ready™
Â
Real Work Ready™ was created by Laura Massetti,  executive, commercial leader, and performance consultant with more than 15 years of experience hiring, leading, and evaluating both early and experienced professionals inside fast-paced organizations.
It wasn’t built as a program.
It was built from a pattern.
Across years of building teams and sitting inside performance reviews, Laura saw the same thing repeatedly:
Capable, early professionals, and motivated people were not failing…. They were operating without a map.
They could do the work, but they didn’t yet understand how organizations actually function, how performance is evaluated, or how trust is built through daily execution.
So they learned through missed expectations, rework, and quiet mistakes.
At the same time, she watched managers spend enormous amounts of time teaching fundamentals informally, how to clarify work, prioritize, communicate progress, apply judgment, and follow through.
Essential operating behavior. Never structured. Never designed.
Eventually, Laura stopped asking how to train people better and started asking:
What are managers actually evaluating?.... The answer was clear.
They were evaluating how people operate.
That insight became the foundation of the Real Work Ready™ Performance Model,  a professional operating framework that makes this invisible layer visible and teachable.

Laura does not believe most performance struggles are motivation problems.
They are operating problems.
People don’t struggle because they don’t care.
They struggle because they don’t yet see the system they are operating inside.
Her work is focused on making that system visible, and teaching people how to operate inside it well.
Today, Laura leads Vita Vista Global, where she works with professionals and organizations on performance systems, leadership development, and capability building.
Real Work Ready™ is her flagship professional readiness platform.

If you’re here, you’re probably trying to build something.
A career that feels clear, not confusing.
A team that operates effectively, not just works hard.
A version of yourself that contributes with confidence.
That’s what I build.
